Item #SAB03 - $1250
Old Navajo Turquoise & Petrified Wood Bracelet
This amazing old bracelet was pawned at Painted Hills Trading Post in Sanders, Arizona.
Founder of the post, Don Jacobs Sr. wore the bracelet for many years until his death in 1987.
The bracelet's centerpiece is a natural green turquoise stone (1-1/2" by 3/4") from the Hachita, New Mexico mines.
It is adorned with two exquisite Arizona petrified wood cabochons (approximately 1-1/4" each)
and fourteen turquoise accent stones: triangles, rounds, and ovals.
Embellished with silver drops, twist wire, and intricate stamped motifs and incised borders.
Inside circumference is 6-1/2" plus a 1" opening, width measures 1-7/8".
Bracelet is in excellent condition for age; despite a few cracks in the accent stones
and some wear to the silver, the integrity of the piece remains intact.
No maker's hallmarks, beautifully aged patina, circa 1930.
An extraordinary example of vintage Native Americana!
